Baptism is the first important step of obedience immediately following a decision to accept Jesus as your Lord and Savior. Baptism identifies the believer as a disciple of Jesus. It is an outward expression of an inward commitment.
At Sin City Church, we believe in full immersion and require such for membership. If you were fully immersed by another Christian church as a born-again believer within the age of understanding, we do not require you to be fully immersed again. If you were not fully immersed as a born-again believer because either your church sprinkled with water or it did not have a baptistery or other means available, we encourage and invite you to experience the joy of baptism by full immersion. We acknowledge that a tension may exist for those who come from other faiths who have been sprinkled or were baptized as infants. Please submit the below form for further discussion. If a disability may not permit immersion, you may also communicate that through the below form. God knows your heart and if you were physically able, you would choose to be immersed.
